Jeremiah Brown is a renowned keynote speaker, TEDx speaker, leadership development coach, and a dedicated husband and father. Drawing on his experience as a former NFL athlete, Jeremiah inspires and empowers others. As the author of “LEAD LIKE A CHAMPION,” a character development playbook, Jeremiah is committed to enhancing student success through leadership and personal growth. Jeremiah Brown
Jeremiah’s journey took a profound turn when a life-threatening brain injury from a concussion forced him to retire from the NFL. This sudden end to his football career plunged him into a deep struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts as he grappled with the loss of his identity. However, Jeremiah refused to let this setback define him. Instead, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, transforming his experiences into a mission to help others overcome their own challenges.
In recognition of his contributions and advocacy in mental health awareness, Jeremiah was awarded the 2023 Mental Health Leader of the Year Award by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the largest grassroots mental health organization in the USA. He was also honored with the 2024 Speaker of the Year Award by Dr. Eric Thomas, the world’s top motivational speaker.
Jeremiah’s unique blend of experiences in professional sports, education, and leadership development equips him with the expertise to connect with diverse audiences, from K-12 educators to corporate teams.
